IN AMERICA, WE DON’T DO KINGS. They’ve defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights, and slashed our services. The corruption has gone too. far. No thrones. No crowns. No kings.
On June 14—Flag Day—Donald Trump wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday. A spectacle meant to look like strength. No Kings is a nationwide day of defiance. From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we’re taking action to reject authoritarianism—and show the world what democracy really looks like.

Hands Off! Mass Mobilization
Across the country, and right here at home, on April 5, we will take to the streets to say Hands Off! of all the people and programs that we love and care about. The reality is that there is not one concrete thing that the current administration could do on April 5 to make itself wholly redeemable. Not one concrete thing that will make us believe that April 5 is a one-and-done event that leaves in its wake a finished structure of a better democracy. It’s hard to give a detailed list of demands when the attacks on democracy are coming at us like a firehose.
